In a Pathlight survey, after you add your questions, you can add a number of settings at a survey level. These are Settings, Targeting, Channels, Translations, and Integrations. In this article, we will show all options under Translations.
This is found on the left-hand side column in the survey editor. Once you click on Translations, the menu with the available options for customizations will open underneath this section. To start with you will only have a button saying "Add language".
When you click Add language, you will see a pop-up menu with a dropdown from which you can select a language to add as a translation to your existing English quiz. In this example, we will select Spanish and let our AI translate the entire quiz automatically.
Depending on how long the quiz is it may take longer in order for this process to automatically happen since it takes all elements that are in English and provides a translated version in the selected language.
What is left to do now is scroll through the translation and verify each translation to ensure it uses the exact tone or words you want. If you want to change anything, you can click on the translated text and edit that section anyway you want.
At the end, don't forget to use the top Save button to save your translation.
You can add as many translations as you want by using the Add language button, and the process will work the same. If we add another language, for example, German, Spanish will be a tab in the Translations menu card, and you can switch from Spanish to German if you want the full view to edit anything.
