In a Pathlight survey, after you add your questions, you can add a number of settings at a survey level. These are Settings, Targeting, Channels, Translations, and Integrations. In this article, we will show all options under Settings.

This is found on the left-hand side column in the survey editor. Once you click on Settings, the menu with the available options for customizations will open underneath this section.

The first options in the menu refer to the Button labels. Any labels you add here are applied globally to the entire survey. If on any question page you individually customize the button label, that will overwrite the label from Settings.

You can also set the width of the button at this page to be full-width or not. Again, this setup can be overwritten on individual pages under Advanced Settings. The same goes for the Button Alignment that you choose from the drop-down menu to be Right, Left, or Center.

Next, you have the option to show a progress bar. If you choose to do so you can also choose the style of it between Percentage, Count and Bar only. You can also include a Progress bar label using two variables to call out certain values such as the [percentage] which is the percentage of questions completed and the
[remaining] variable which is the percentage of questions remaining. You can immediately check the preview of the survey by clicking on the Questions tab at the top so you can check the look of the progress bar.

The next option is the Go back button. You can choose to show one by checking the row here. Please note that enabling the "Go back button" can lead to unexpected stats, analytics and behavior for the connected integrations, as more than one answer could be submitted for the same question. You can also write a custom Go back button label here. You can again click the Questions tab in the menu to check the preview and see if the new go back button you've added.

The last set of options under Settings is the POS settings. More specifically you can customize the POS Loading Text, which is the message displayed on the POS when the Survey is loading; and the POS No More Questions Text which is the message displayes when there are no questions available for the customers currently taking it (this can show if they were already answered or there are no more questions to answer for this customer).
